If you’re in the mood for a fun new read aloud, then I Can Only Draw Worms by Will Mabbitt is a great choice!
I Can Only Draw Worms is a laugh-out-loud exploration of counting and drawing. However, it just so happens that the illustrator can only draw worms! Since the worms all look alike they are numbered from one to ten. Count them as you read. Find out what happens to worm eight! As an added bonus, this book will make readers feel better about their drawing skills because we can all draw worms! Simple text and colorful illustrations make this an easy and enjoyable read aloud.
After you’ve read this book, try drawing something simple yourself, like rocks or clouds, for example. What is the only thing you can draw?
