StoryWalk Summer!

Summertime is a great time for a StoryWalk®! StoryWalks® are books displayed page by page along a trail or path and are a fun way for families to enjoy the outdoors and read at the same time. Here are the dates and locations you can catch one:

June 1-14 at the Fairbanks, 1126 N. Broadway Ave. in Springfield: Agua, Agüita/Water, Little Water by Jorge Tetl Argueta.

June 15-28 at the Fairbanks, 1126 N. Broadway Ave. in Springfield: Astro Girl by Ken Wilson-Max.

June 21-July 4 at Miller Park, 711 E. Miller Road in Republic: Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall.

July 1-21 at Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park, 2400 S. Scenic Ave. in Springfield: Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World's Most Famous Bear by Lindsay Mattick.

July 5-25 at the Springfield Conservation Nature Center, 4601 S. Nature Center Way in Springfield: Wonder Walkers by Micha Archer.

July 19-August 1 at Valley Water Mill Park, 2450 E. Valley Water Mill Road in Springfield: Hey, Water! by Antoinette Portis.

August 2-22 at Jackson Street Park, 222 W. Jackson St. in Willard: Cat's Colors by Airlie Anderson. 

August 16-29 at Silver Springs Park, 1100 N. Hampton Ave. in Springfield: Jabari Jumps by Gaia Cornwall.

StoryWalks® are available during park hours.
