Wentworth is near the Lawrence County Line, on the Frisco Railroad, eight miles southeast of Sarcoxie, (Jasper Co.). (—The State of Missouri, in 1904, p. 461.) In 1910 a new 56'5" x 20'4" wood depot was built to replace the old depot, built in 1874, which was destroyed by fire.
