Description: Winslow
Tunnel through the Boston Mountains, 1,780 feet in length,
is not too long to cause discomfort to passengers, but
just long enough to give those who have never been through
a tunnel on a railroad the novel experience they have perhaps
longed for. The views from the car windows on either side
of the Winslow Tunnel are magnificent.
