Volume V, No. 2, Winter 1977 |
Photos by Stephen Ludwig, Robert McKenzie, and Daniel Hough
The year is but a day
and now it is night.
Nature lays her head upon the ground
and pulls a snowy white blanket
about her shoulders.
The day has been full.
She welcomes the winter inactivity
as a needed rejuvenation.
She is sleeping now
but soon shall awaken,
freshened and ready to begin
a new day.
