'Riverbluff Cave -- Ice Age Time Capsule' Oct. 5 at Library Center

Patrons of all ages are invited to attend Riverbluff Cave – Ice Age Time Capsule at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 5, in the auditorium at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
Matt Forir, executive director of Riverbluff Cave in Greene County, will give an update on findings and developments at the site. The cave was discovered on September 11, 2001, while the county was blasting for a new road. Findings have been dated to the Pleistocene age, which spanned from 11,000 years to 1.8 million years ago.
Items from Riverbluff Cave and other sites on loan from the Missouri Institute of Natural Science are currently on display in concourse of the Library Center.
