'Holiday Open House' in Candyland with Santa Kick Off Annual 'Holiday Store' for Kids at Library Center and Library Station
November 15, 2011 —
Children can stretch their quarters and dollars further when they shop for Mom, Dad, teachers and friends this season at the annual Holiday Store at the Library Center beginning Nov. 26 and the Library Station on Dec. 3.
The store, set up inside the libraries, features a wide variety of fun and practical holiday gifts for all ages, at kid-friendly prices of 25 cents to $8.
Friends of the Library volunteers will help children shop for everyone on their gift list; children can wrap their gifts or get help from a volunteer or parent.
Opening day for the store at both branches begins with the fun-filled Holiday Open House, featuring a life-size Candyland setting with games for kids, crafts, treats and photographs with Santa Claus.
