Barty Shakes Presents Green Eggs and Hamlet and You!
May 31, 2012 — Families will be treated to free theater productions by the Springfield Summer Festival Project this summer at the Park Central Branch.
The shows will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 2 and June 9 at the library branch on Springfield’s Park Central Square. All ages are welcome.
Dr. Barty Shakes and his two long-suffering assistants are back to bring you one of the greatest plays ever written, “Hamlet.” But Dr. Shakes is confused and thinks it’s “Green Eggs and Hamlet.”
Join us for this whimsical and fun retelling of a Shakespeare classic, adapted by Bryant Turnage and Jeff Jenkins.
