‘Science Nerd Night: Experimental Fun for the Whole Family!’ June 26 at Library Center

June 17, 2013 — You've got to admit, the most fun any of us had in science class were the experiments. The whole family can have fun with hands-on experiments while you learn about the laws of physics during Science Nerd Night: Experimental Fun for the Whole Family! at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, in the Library Center auditorium.

The Discovery Center, Missouri State University’s College of Natural and Applied Science, 3M and City of Springfield Public Works Department will teach us about the laws of physics that connect us to the world and to the universe. Come play and learn and rediscover your inner science nerd with hands-on experiments and activities including an atomic light show, bent light, a working stop light and more.

This event is a Here, There, and Everywhere program. For more information visit thelibrary.org.
