Insurance Marketplace Enrollment Offered March 8 at Libraries
March 4, 2014 — With the March 31 deadline approaching for enrolling in Missouri Health Insurance Marketplace plans, certified experts will help eligible individuals during an enrollment event from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at these library branches:
- Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
- Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway
- Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central St.
Certified application counselors, federal navigators and SHOP Marketplace experts will provide factual information about individuals’ health coverage options and help with enrollment.
Visits that day will be available on a walk-in basis or with appointments by calling Primaris, 616-0542, or Southwest Missouri Office on Aging, 679-2326.
Individuals should bring with them: proof of income, (W-2 form or last two pay stubs), Social Security number, list of medications you currently take, policy number of any current health insurance plan, and account and password if you started an account on the marketplace. Also consider bringing a list of which doctors you prefer to see and your monthly budget for health care expenses.
