Debra Hedgcorth “Masked” Book Signing May 16 at Library Center

Author Debra Hedgcorth will sell and sign copies of her book, “Masked,” from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, in the Library Center concourse, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
So many people are walking around wearing masks and don't realize it, Hedgcorth writes. It's our defense to pain and our escape from responsibility in relationships. The masks are typically placed in the teen years. Hiding seems to be easier at first, she writes, until we realize one day that we are alone. Relationships take time, effort, and vulnerability. Healing opens new possibilities for the heart to trust. Hedgcorth writes, it all starts with God.
