Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale Starts April 27!

April 25, 2016 —     The Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale promises to be even bigger this year when it opens  Wednesday, April 27, in the E*Plex at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, 3001 N. Grant Ave. Enjoy free parking, free admission, and rock-bottom prices for books, movies, music, vinyl records and collectibles for all ages

The E*Plex west wing offers 37,000 square feet of shopping space, more than previous sales at Remington’s, which closed in 2015. The new location offers free parking and free admission, and the E*Plex sells refreshments.
The spring sale is one day shorter this year, too, so bargain hunters, take note:
     • Friends Night Preview Sale will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the E*Plex. Friends with membership cards get in free; others may join that night for $5 at the door.
     • Admission is free the rest of the week, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, April 27-30; and 1-5 p.m. Sunday, May 1. Enjoy Half-Price Day on Saturday and Bag Day on Sunday, when all you can stuff in a sack is $1, or $5 from the Better Books side.

With more space for easy-to-reach selections, shoppers will find even more books, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, vinyl records, puzzles and games at the same bargain prices. Friends can accept cash or check only.
Every sale offers new treasures. This spring, shoppers will find a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction for all ages as well as large collections of books on gardening, cooking and Egypt. This sale also features a large collection of automotive repair manuals, horses and horsemanship, and a unique collectible book on antique coverlets.
Adult, young adult, children’s books and most audiovisual items are priced at $1 or less. Better books are $2 and up.
