Annual Library Holiday Store for Kids Begins Dec. 2
October 30, 2017 — Kids love giving holiday gifts that they’ve bought all by themselves, and they can find the perfect gifts – and kid-friendly prices – for family, friends and teachers at the Library’s annual Holiday Store. You can find a Holiday Store at five branches this year.
The event is on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the five branches, and the Library Center store continues daily through Sunday, Dec. 10.
The Between Friends Gift Shop staff has selected useful and fun items priced from 25 cents to $6, and create “stores” within the library branches where children of all ages up to 18 can shop. Bring your gift list, and a Library volunteer will help each child find the perfect gift for everyone on the list, stay within a budget and wrap and tag the gifts. Parents or siblings are welcome to help, too!
Items include jewelry, lotions, mugs, toys, stuffed animals, holiday ornaments, keychains, and lots of items for the guys and gals on everyone’s list. Don’t forget the family pets!
Proceeds from the Holiday Store support Library programs.
While you’re shopping at the Holiday Store, drop by the Holiday Open House: Winter Wonderland for all ages. Make memories and enjoy frozen festivities as we prepare for winter with books, crafts, games and activities.
