Join the Library for The Future of Lunar Exploration

June 24, 2020 —       The Library is proud to offer “Live with NASA’s Artemis: The Future of Lunar Exploration and Beyond to Mars," a virtual event for children through adults at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 23. It will be a Facebook live event on Facebook @thelibrary.org.

With the Artemis program, NASA plans to place two humans on the Moon by 2024, with the long-term goals of establishing a presence on the moon, building a lunar economy and using what they learn on and around the moon to take the next giant leap -- sending astronauts to Mars!

Patricia Moore, Communication Strategist for NASA’s Deep Space Exploration Systems, will lead the discussion about this ambitious project.

If you’re not on Facebook, visit thelibrary.org/programs before the scheduled program for details on accessing the virtual event.
