Register to Vote, Get Ballot Notarized at Drive-through Events

August 26, 2020 — The League of Women Voters and the Springfield-Greene County Libraries have partnered to offer drive-up voter registration at library branches. Some events will also offer notary service for mail-in and absentee ballots.

Notary service is available by league volunteers where noted. Notary service is also available inside the Library Center and Library Station, but appointments are necessary to make sure the notary is available. For Library Center call 883-5341; for Library Station call 616-0683.

Here’s the drive-up schedule:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 29: Republic Branch, 10 a.m. -1 p.m.; Library Center, 3-6 p.m. Notary inside, call for appointment.
  • Wednesday, Sept. 30: Midtown Carnegie Branch, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Library Center, 3-6 p.m. Notary inside, call for appointment.
  • Thursday, Oct. 1: Schweitzer Brentwood Branch, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; Library Station 3-6 p.m. Notary inside, call for appointment.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, is the last day to register for November election.

Drive-through notarization events, no voter registration:

  • League of Women Voter notaries will be available at all of these locations. Or make an appointment at the Library Center and Library Station for a notary indoors.
  • Saturday, Oct. 10: Library Center and Library Station, 10-2 p.m.
  •  Tuesday, Oct. 13: Republic Branch and Library Center, 3-7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 14: Willard Branch and Library Center, 3-7 p.m.
  •  Thursday, Oct. 15: Schweitzer Brentwood and Library Center, 3-7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 17: Library Center and Library Station, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 24: Library Center and Library Station, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
