We Need to Talk: What is White Privilege?

September 24, 2020 — Join in a Zoom event for the first in a series, We Need to Talk, designed by The Library to provide a safe space to ask hard questions about some of society’s toughest topics.

On Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 6:30 p.m., Justyn Pippins, SCORE Southwest Missouri Diversity Chair, will host a conversation exploring white privilege – what it is and what we can do when we recognize it. Presented in partnership with the Springfield NAACP.

Registration is required by going to

Registrants will receive a link to the Zoom session after registration.

In upcoming installments of We Need to Talk, a host will guide an informal conversation and finish the session with a discussion of how you can put what you’ve learned into action in your own life and community.
