COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics Planned May 1 and 22 at Library Center and Library Station
May 4, 2021 — The Springfield-Greene County Health Department will host a free, public COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday, May 1 and again May 22 at two Springfield-Greene County Libraries:
- 9 a.m.-noon at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave. RED CU bus route
- 1-4 p.m. at the Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway. LIME CU bus route
The one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine and Pfizer vaccine will be available. For Pfizer, the recommended interval between doses is 21 days. Participants can get their first or second dose at this clinic. The second dose will be available at the same times and libraries on Saturday, May 22. Individuals may get their first Pfizer dose on May 22, and health officials there can help get them information about how and when to get the second shot.
How to register
Walk-ins are welcome, but registration is strongly encouraged.
All Missourians 16 years and older can register in advance and schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment directly through Missouri’s Vaccine Navigator program. Go to covidvaccine.mo.gov/navigator.
The public can view a complete list of vaccine events at vaccine417.com and contact the Health Department’s COVID-19 call center at (417) 874-1211 for help registering or making an appointment.
When you arrive
Bring a photo ID if available.
Those who registered in advance should bring the patient ID number that was emailed or provided when they registered.
