August 27, 2021 — The Springfield-Greene County Health Department will conduct free, public COVID-19 vaccine clinics at two Springfield-Greene County Libraries.
The clinics are:
-
Sept. 8, 3-5 p.m. at the Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway
-
Sept. 9, 3-5 p.m. at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
The two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be available. Health care workers will provide information on when and where individuals can receive their second dose.
Immunocompromised individuals eligible for third doses may also get them at either clinic. Forms will be required to attest that they meet the criteria of immunocompromised conditions approved for a third dose. These forms will be posted at the event link on the vaccine417 site and will also be available in paper form at the clinic.
Third-shot boosters will not be available for the rest of the population at the clinics, as they have not yet been approved.
While walk-ins are always welcome, individuals may save time by registering for clinics in advance at www.vaccine417.com. For help registering, call the Springfield-Greene County Health Department COVID-19 Call Center at 417-874-1211, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
