Four Authors Visit for 'Teen Book Mania' June 5 at Library Center
May 28, 2010 — Teens are avid readers in the summer, so they’ll love meeting four young-adult authors at Teen Book Mania, 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell Ave.
The four nationally published authors will talk about their books, writing, and the business of being an author. Then teens can mix with the authors during a Q&A session and book signing.
Library partner Borders Books will have copies of the authors’ books for sale, or teens can bring copies for the authors to sign. The event is targeted to teens in grades 6-12, but everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
The authors are:
- Jenny B. Jones, author of the “Katie Parker Production” series and “A Charmed Life” series
- Brian Katcher, author of “Playing with Matches” and “Almost Perfect”
- Brent Crawford, author of “Carter Finally Gets It” and his newest release, “Carter’s Big Break”
- Holly Schindler, author of “A Blue So Dark,” her debut novel expected to be released in May by Flux Books.
