  • Park Central Branch Library - "Finding Winnie" StoryWalk®
    10:30 a.m. for infants-grade 6.
    Join us for two special storytimes at the Park Central Branch Library, where we'll kick off our StoryWalk® featuring "Finding Winnie" by Lindsay Mattick. StoryWalks® combine three important elements that promote learning: reading, moving, and enjoying the outdoors. After we read our StoryWalk® book, we'll walk around downtown and enjoy the book again, displayed on signs in local business windows along the way. Families can return to the downtown area again to enjoy the book through April 29. A One Read event.

    Join us every Tuesday for a relaxing session of coloring and see why these intricate and beautiful coloring designs are all the rage. Drop in or stay the whole time. Materials will be provided.

    6 p.m. for adults.
    Join us for First Friday Art Walk and the opening of a new exhibit. At 6 p.m., Mu Theta, Drury University's music therapy student organization, and the Queen City Rock Camp Volunteer Band will perform a variety of songs. On Display: Missouri Over There: Artwork Inspired by the Veteran Experience by Susan Neese, Janine Helton and Wayne Doornbosch. This One Read exhibit is sponsored by Springfield Regional Arts Council.
