    You can choose what you want to learn and go at your own speed with our self-paced tutorials. We provide the computer and you select from a wide variety of lessons designed specifically for individual learning. Topics include basic skills, Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, Gmail, Photoshop and more. Both interactive and video tutorials are available to fit your learning style. We also offer computer-instructed keyboarding lessons to help you learn to type or improve your typing skills. Prerequisites: Some experience using keyboard and mouse.   • Exploring Human Ancestry: Hands-On Family Activities
    2-4:30 p.m. in the Frisco Room for adults.
    What skeletal features enable our upright, bipedal walking? How do features of our legs and pelvis differ from those of apes, who don't usually walk upright? Take some time for a fun, educational family experience to see how we know what we know from the human fossil record. Join faculty and students from Missouri State University's Departments of Sociology and Anthropology to compare fossil casts of early members of the human family with those of modern humans and of our closest living relatives, the chimpanzees, and to celebrate International Darwin Day. Hands-on activities allow you to interpret similarities and differences of members of the genus Australopithecus compared to those of our genus, Homo. Also in the Santa Fe Room.
