Ozarks Genealogical Society members and cousins Barbara Brauch and Nora Lee Faulkner come together to rescue the burial place of their great-great-great grandparents, Samuel and Catherine (McNabb) Phariss, from a farm field. Find out how this lost piece of history was found again, and the many people who helped the process along through the years.

- CANCELED - History Explorers Presents: Early Settlers of Southwest Missouri

Hear from the settlers, slaves, First Nations People and Union soldiers who were an important part of antebellum Missouri. The Jamie and Amy Hollis family of Tennessee settled in what was then Wayne County, Missouri, in the 1830s, and were witnesses to history on their prosperous Hollis Plantation. These interactive events encourage singing, dancing and some show-and-tell to keep little ones fully engaged with the storytime provider and each other. We all need some warmth and fuzziness, so Library Center youth services staffer Chris will share stories and songs about making friends.
