  We accept donations of hardback and paperback books for both adults and juveniles, music albums, sheet music, puzzles and board games. Your donations are sold by the Friends of the Library at book sales throughout the year.

Other Ways to Support Your Library

• Shop at the Library

  
  

  All purchases from the Friends of the Library-sponsored Between Friends Gift Shops, located at the Library Center and Library Station, benefit the ten branches and bookmobile of the Springfield-Greene County Library District.

• Volunteer

  
  

  Volunteers are a valuable resource for public service organizations. The Library uses the services of volunteers, age 14 and older, to supplement the duties and activities of paid staff.

• Join the Friends

  
  

  Friends of the Library members and volunteers actively promote Library services and resources while sharing their love of books with the community. The Friends foster a positive relationship between the Library and the community, secure volunteers and raise funds to support the Library.
