THE DUPLEX UNIT — LIGHTWEIGHT, STREAMLINED, ARTICULATED CAR: The unit is constructed so that it can be used in a train of regular standard type cars. The car is of alloy steel in the body construction. This unit known as a "duplex" car contains 16 rooms. In addition to two regular bedrooms there are 14 single rooms, equally divided between rooms on the floor level and others reached by three steps. The car is air-conditioned with individual temperatures and ventilation control for each room. The ultra-modern in car construction.
