In compiling this Directory of Towns, Villages and Hamlets, Past and Present, of Laclede County, Missouri, an effort has been made to include every known community.

I am deeply indebted to Sergeant Gerald Groves, 225 Ash, Lebanon, A Sergeant with the Highway Patrol, who has been working on a history of post-offices in Laclede County. Sergeant Groves contributed much material to the directory.
