In compiling this Directory of Towns, Villages and Hamlets, Past and Present, of Phelps County, Mo., every effort has been made to include every community in the county.

I am indebted to Mrs. Leola Miller, Librarian, at Rolla Public Library, who graciously took the time from her very busy schedule to review this work. Since Mrs. Millar did not note any corrections, it is assumed that the work is historically correct.
