In compiling this Directory of Towns, Villages, and Hamlets, Past and
Present, of Texas Co., Mo., every effort has been made to include every community in
the county.
I am indebted to Mrs. Louise Johnson, Librarian of the Texas County Library,
who very patiently made several needed corrections in the directory; also,
Mrs. Johnson supplied additional information.
