Missourians Who Gave Their Lives at Andersonville During The Civil War
Many Union soldiers died while Prisoners of War in the Confederate prison at Andersonville, Georgia, and are buried in a National Cemetery there. This 50 acre cemetery contains 12,461 graves and all are marked except the 451 which are unknown.
Following are soldiers from Missouri units who died and were buried while being held in this infamous prison camp.
