Volume 6, Number 8 - Summer 1978
Ruth Asher, former Stone County Director, junior past vice president, and charter member, has accepted the appointment as editor of the Quarterly. Ruth has submitted several articles to the magazine over the past years and understands the need to record our history.
Lets see that the new editor has something to edit. Each of us has a story, whether it be about our family; history of our school, church or town; about an area event or happening; or, about old time customs and traditions.
The Ozarks are fast becoming a melting-pot and old-time ways of living, entertaining, and pleasures are disappearing. While there are still a few early citizens and elder members of our families among us, we must visit with them and record all that they can tell us. This is our challenge!
