Copy of Invitation

Secretary-Treasurer
White River Valley Historical Society
Point Lookout, MO

Dear Ms. Rebenstorf,

Enclosed is my dues for 1980, and my best wishes for your continued success. You do a great job.

I especially enjoyed Donna Davis Ricchiuti’s story about her great grandfather, Samuel Davis in the Summer issue of the quarterly.

This is a copy of an invitation to a Cotillion Party given in Springfield in the Civil War times. The original was destroyed about 15 years ago. The Martha I. Bradley to whom it was addressed was my great grandmother and John Farley, a Floor Manager was my grandfather.

Thank you for the pleasure of membership.

Yours truly
