Mrs. Philip E. BROWN, 9807 Hayes, Overland Park, KS 66212 needs the names of the parents of Still and Charlotte PATTERSON. He was born about 1815 in TN and she about 1822/23 in KY. In 1850 they were in Flat township, Taney County (later Stone County) with two other Patterson families, Andrew and Thomas. The 1840 census shows Andrew with 2 males 20-30. Wives could be connected with the Yoachum family. Believe a sister married Levi YOACHUM in Greene county in 1834. Other possible connections may be STILL, HENDRIX, WOOLEY, and MOORE. By 1860 Still and Thomas Patterson moved their families to Lawrence County where Still died in 1871. Our connection is through his daughter, Lavina Arbelle, who married William Barksdale LOGAN and died at Hurley in 1925.

Last year she attended family reunions of the BUTTRAMS in Haleyville, AL and the HUFFAKERS in CO and IA.
Donna RICCHIUTI, 14557 Valley Vista Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 needs information about Josephine BAILEY (sp?) born in MO; lived at Weaubleau, near Springfield, MO. Probably married in CO to George Alfred WALLACE, born in 1832 in MS. Was a confederate soldier, then in U. S. Army stationed in Alamoosa, CO, a "cattle king" 3 times.
Children: Annie, born about 1880; Bert born 1895; Earl; Clarence; Charles; and Gertrude. Brother of Josephine was a barber in Alamoosa about 1900.

GIPSON, born 1848 in AL; Elizabeth GIPSON, born in 1850 in AL married William CRABTREE; Ellen GIPSON, born 1855 in AL married James S. MULLEN; and Milly GIPSON, born in 1860 married William H. HOOD.
Thurman L. BASKIN, 201 A. Misty Isle, Las Vegas, NV 89107 is seeking information for Andrew Jackson BRADLEY, born 1856, MO, and his family who lived in Ozark, Co. Andrew married (1) Sallie HART. There were 8 children born of this union and only 1 is known, Mary, who married Jacob BUTTRAM. Andrew married (2) Nancy BREEDLOVE, born 7 Nov 1883. Only known child of this marriage is Emma who married Arthur MACKEY. Andrew died 24 July 1910 and is buried in the BRADLEY family cemetery at Pond Fork in Ozark Co. Are his wives and any children buried there? Is a listing of the BRADLEY cemetery available? It is believed this cemetery is on the BUTTRAM family place.
Rhoda J. MORLEY, 3215 Hwy. 44 iN, Okeechobee, FL 33472 writes, "My grandmother Rachel HODGES THOMAS was born in Taney County, MO about 1858. She was the first child of Meschac and Nancy BOZARTH HODGES. Rachel married Marshall A. THOMAS about 1874, probably in Taney County. They lived near Bradleyville, MO. Sarah was born in 1875 and John in 1877. They moved to Johnson Co. AR; Robert was born in 1879 and Matilda 1884. Rhoda (my mother) was born in 1886. It has not been determined if she was born in AR or MO. When she was 3 years old her mother (Rachel) died in 1889. It is said she was buried in Taney County.
"A brother of Marshall THOMAS, James Allen THOMAS, who lived at 801 5. Nettleton St., Springfield, died 20 Nov 1920. He was buried in a Chadwick, MO cemetary by Lohmeyer Mortuary. I have a picture of his grave marker. It’s about 3 feet tall and at the foot of the grave is a foot high white round rock. This rock was said, by my now deceased Aunt Sarah, to mark the grave of my grandmother. Picture was taken about 1964. There are no other noticeable markers in the picture. Directly behind these stones is a fence and a cow is grazing."
"I would like to know where this cemetery is located and have proof that my grandmother is buried there so I can have a permanent marker placed."
"Who else is buried in this same cemetery. There must be more of my ancestors there, or why would James THOMAS be buried next to his sister-in-law that died 30 years before he did?"
