Volume 8, Number 5 - Fall 1983

President's Message

Greetings To All My Fellow Members:

Now that the long hot summer has passed it is easier to think of our future plans. Any ideas or suggestions for the continued success of our Society would be greatly appreciated.

At this time I want to express my sincere thanks to all of the elected and appointed officers and to the editor for the excellent quarterly. But in this Society the input and support from all our members is important. We need all of your ideas on increasing our membership and keeping our meetings interesting and informative.

We welcome all contributions to our quarterly. So if you have any stories or articles of historical nature or know anyone who does, please see if you can get them to our editor. They should, of course, concern the area covered by the White River Valley Historical Society, outline of which is shown in the logo on the cover.

Hoping to see all of you at the next meeting, I am
Sincerely,
Fred Hartman
