1. Helen Bozarth SINOR, 811 Cumberland St., Dallas, TX 75203 needs information about Stephen JACKSON, born 1838 in Decaturville, TN and died in 1911 at Noble, MO. He is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery on Hwy. 5 between Noble and Wasola, Ozark County. He married Sarah (Sally) W. LAWRENCE who was born in 1841 in Missouri. Was Stephens father Benjamin JACKSON who was in Ozark County in 1860, possibly with a second wife who was 15 years his junior?
Death record on Stephen has been obtained but none on Sally. Did she die in another area? Where?

The BOZARTHS and the MCDOWELLS owned a grist mill in Nuckolls County, NB during the 1800s and Owen living there in 1880 census listed as not married. Any help appreciated and willing to share any research.
A NOTE OF INTEREST: "You may remember that when I first joined I told you that I wanted to get a marker placed on my grandmother Rachel HODGES THOMAS grave. She was buried in SHERROD Cemetery in 1889. This past spring my dream came true. Some dear second cousins of Muskogee, OK had a marker made and went to the cemetery to place it. After 99 years my grandmothers grave has a marker. They even made a video for me which let me see the cemetery and stones of my other relatives and the country. I was very impressed with the beauty of the land," writes Rhoda MORLEY of Okeechobee, FL.
SHERROD CEMETERY is located about 5 miles southwest of Brown Branch across Big Beaver Creek (no bridge). It is fenced and well tended. IR.
