Teckla, KEITHLEY, 836 5. Johnson St., Macomb, IL 61455 would like information on Nancy LEE, born about 1794 & died in 1850’s, who married Willis KEITHLEY, born 1785 and died 1861. They lived on Caney Fork, White County, TN; moved to Lawrence Co. IN in 1816; moved to Taney Co. (Greene Co. then) in 1830 near what later became Day, MO. She is buried in Cupp Cemetery. Need her birthdate, place of birth, and death date. Would also like the name of her father, mother’s maiden name, where they lived, dates of birth, marriage, and deaths, places of burial, etc.

Viola WEATHERMAN, 534 Chaparrol Way, W. Sacramento, CA 95691 writes "I am trying to find my family Bible. Our things were left in storage with a family in Branson when we came to California in 1941. When we returned it was gone plus other things. The family name is DARLING. If anyone has information about this I would be grateful to hear."

Dorothy P. GROSS, 10615 237th Place S. W. Edmonds, WA 98020 is seeking information on death/burial of William NORTHERN from Polk County, MO residing in Taney County in 1870 with daughter, Rhoda, and son-in-law William T. PIKE. William NORTHERN was born in North Carolina about 1790. He married Sally BLACKBURN in 1818 in Jefferson County, Tennessee and married Mary HICKMAN in 1850 in Polk County, MO. Please help.

Donna RICCHIUTI, 14557 Valley Vista Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 would like to correspond with researchers of BANKS surname, who have STOCKSTILL, GORDON or DAVIS connections with a migration of TN, MO, AR and OK.

William C. LOWRY, 4619 Fairmount, Kansas City, MO 64112 would like to know what happened to Joseph COKER, his wife, Lucinda (MATNEY) COKER and his dad, Leonard COKER from 1846-50. Joseph & Lucinda were listed as living in Taney County in the 1840 census. Leonard was in Carroll County, AR in the 1840 Federal census. All disappeared by 1850. Any help or leads on this family mystery will be appreciated.

Sandra FREELING, 24113 - 105th Place W., Edmonds, WA 98020 is researching the following lines: BUCK, PRYOR/PRIOR, HODGE(S), CLEVENGER, MABRY/MAYBERRY. Needs the dates and places of death of Jacob & Mary M. BUCK. They were in Lawrence County, MO in 1850 (may have gone to Webster County, MO) Need names of parents of David PRYOR/PRIOR, born in 1825 in North Carolina and resided in Greene County, MO in 1880. Who were the parents of Joanna HODGE(S), born about 1831 in Illinois and married Braxton CLEVENGER residing in Taney Co. in 1850. Also researching MABRY/MAYBERRY.

Ramona BARR, 13607 W. 145th P1., Lockport, IL 60441, and her sister, Dorothy FLANAGAN, 3849 Peach Orchard Cir., Portsmouth, VA 23703 (both members) send a plea for help in locating information on their Stone County, MO ancestors. Their great, great grandmother was Sarah Ann (DAVIS) RAY daughter of John and Ellen (LUKE) Davis, born in MO in 1835. She was listed in the 1870 Stone County census as head of household, indicating she was either divorced or widowed. What was her husband’s given name, when & where were they married, etc? Children (3): Joshua I, who married Leona JORDAN TAYLOR; Mary J., who married Ed PHILABERT; and, Lucy Ellen, who married William R. RAZOR. Would like to hear from anyone who could help with their research on families RAY, RAZOR, DAVIS, OWEN and TAYLOR.

An added note from Mrs. BARR says, "My grandmother, Mary Jane RAZOR, often told me that she was a cousin to Jesse JAMES. but the only time she remembered seeing him was when she was a small girl, about 1895. He and his gang came to where my grandmother and her family were camped. He either buried something or dug up something and rode off.
