(Top) This photograph of uncertain origin, is somewhat identified in time by the NO FISHING -- NO HUNTING sign nailed to the tree, perhaps the first mark made by the 1924 Round Spring State Park. The first settlement at Round Spring, on upper Current River, was before 1840.
