New Departure for Ozarks Watch

Since 1988 OzarksWatch has devoted each issue to a different theme, e.g. "Civil War." "Women," "Law and Order," "Hunting and Fishing," "Roads and Rails," "The Farm," The tradition of themed issues will continue.

However, this issue is different. It is devoted in its entirety to documents of historical significance, a "life reminiscence," and to oral interviews with the author and members of her family conducted by OzarksWatch editors. Photographs are all courtesy of the Bilyeu family unless otherwise noted.
