Singing and music are important parts of early literacy that you can do at home! For some new music, check out Hoopla. To use Hoopla, access from thelibrary.org and enter your library card number and name. Remember, if you live in Greene County, you can get a temporary card during this time to use our online resources and place holds. Once you are in Hoopla, create an account and if you want, place it in Kids mode by selecting the word KIDS in the upper right corner.
Now that you’re in Hoopla, here is some fun music you can borrow and enjoy.
It’s Such a Good Feeling: The Best of Mr. Rogers
The Best of the Laurie Berkner Band
Here Come the ABC’s from They Might Be Giants
Apples and Bananas: A Wiggly Collection of Nursery Rhymes from The Wiggles
Have fun moving and grooving to these and other fun tunes in Hoopla. Challenge each other to come up with the funniest dance move!
For help with Hoopla or more ideas, email racingtoread@thelibrary.org. Have fun singing together!
