Now let’s make some ice cream! Here’s what you will need:
- Large and small resealable plastic bags
- Ice cubes
- ¼-½ cup of salt
- 1 ½ cups milk or cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Add-ins, like fruit, chocolate syrup, cookies, candies
Instructions: Fill the large bag halfway with ice and add the salt. In the small bag, add the milk or cream, sugar and vanilla extract. Securely seal the small bag and put it in the large bag. Finally, seal the large bag and start shaking. Get the whole family involved and take turns shaking. You will need to shake the bag for at least five to seven minutes until your ice cream is the right consistency. Congratulations! You just made ice cream -- eat it right out of the bag, or put it in a bowl and add your favorite toppings.
