Discover Plants & Animals with Adventure Backpacks!

Exploring the outdoors is a fantastic opportunity for families to learn and play together! On your next outdoor adventure take one of the Library’s Adventure Backpacks with you for tools, books and new ideas!

Check out the Library's two newest Adventure Backpack themes Plants and Animals. Each backpack contains themed picture, board and non-fiction books, a magnifying glass, activity suggestions, field guides and Leave No Trace Ethics Cards. In the plant backpack, you’ll also find a plant press to preserve some favorite plant and flower finds. In the animal backpack, you’ll also find animal scat ID cards and binoculars!
