Letter Hunt

You may have noticed that your child recognizes a few letters - perhaps the first letter of their name or letters they see often. One fun way to explore letters is to go on a letter hunt! Choose a meaningful letter and be on the lookout for that letter everywhere you go. How often do you see it? Talk about the words the letter is a part of and the sound the letter makes. Hunt for letters in books or on signs. Your child will be finding letters everywhere before you know it!

SING

Bingo

There was a farmer had a dog,
And Bingo was his name-o,
B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O,
And Bingo was his name-o.

There was a farmer had a dog,
And Bingo was his name-o,
Clap! I-N-G-O, Clap! I-N-G-O, Clap! I-N-G-O,
And Bingo was his name-o.

Repeat substituting a clap for each letter until you clap all the letters.
