Fun with Puppets

Puppets are so much fun for kids and a great tool to help them tell their own stories.  Using puppets, children can act out familiar stories, their own made-up stories, or talk about things they have done.  You can make puppets from paper plates, socks, gloves, or glue pictures from magazines on craft sticks.  However you choose to make them, make sure you let your child’s imagination run wild!

Hey Diddle Diddle

Hey diddle, diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon.
The little dog laughed to see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the spoon!
