Listening Walk

When we walk with our kids, we often talk about what we see. But how often do we talk about what we hear? Try taking a listening walk next time! Stop and pay attention to all the different sounds you hear. You might hear pets, birds, traffic...but your ears might surprise you!

SING

Apple Tree

Way up high in the apple tree, (raise arms overhead)
Two little apples smiled at me. (make hands into fists and shake)
I shook the tree as hard as I could. (mimic shaking tree)
Down came the apples and mmmmm... (lower fists to the ground)
They were good! (rub tummy)
