Mouse spies a nut up in a tree. Yummm. He wants to eat it! So he shakes the tree...but what falls out is not the nut! This starts a hilarious chain of events in this laugh-out-loud interactive picture book: Shake the Tree! by Chiara Bignocchi, Paolo Chiarinottie and Silvia Borando. Kids can help “shake” the tree and will delight in saying “Uh Oh!” and “I’m going to gobble you up!” Interactive books capture and hold the attention of young children by inviting them to participate. They are actively engaged in the reading process!
For more book suggestions, songs and activities please visit the "Shake the Tree!" activity page on the Missouri Building Block Picture Book Award Website!
