PLAY

Wordless Books

Wordless books can be a little overwhelming for adults but they are fun to share with kids and offer so many opportunities for storytelling. When you read a book without words, slow down and take your time. Talk about the pictures and describe what is happening. Take turns making up a story together - you can keep it simple!

SING

Apple Tree

Way up high in the apple tree,  (Raise arms overhead.)
Two little apples smiled at me.  (Make hands into fists and shake.)
I shook the tree as hard as I could.  (Mimic shaking tree.)
Down came the apples and mmmmm...  (Lower fists to the ground.)
They were good!  (Rub tummy.)
