Books Everywhere!

Make your home say, "Readers live here!" Help your baby learn that reading happens everywhere by keeping books all over your house. Keep books for yourself and your little one in every room: bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, even the bathroom! When babies see books everywhere they go, they learn that books are fun and important.

Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb,
Little lamb, little lamb.
Mary had a little lamb,
Its fleece was white as snow.

And everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
And everywhere that Mary went,
The lamb was sure to go.

It followed her to school one day,
School one day, school one day,
It followed her to school one day,
Which was against the rules.

It made the children laugh and play,
Laugh and play, laugh and play,
It made the children laugh and play,
To see a lamb at school.
