Babies enjoy pictures of animals and they like talking about them too. When reading a book about animals point to the pictures and name them. If your baby is pointing let him take the lead. Occasionally talk about how the animals look, where they live or how they sound. And of course, talk about which animals are your favorites. Baby may not be talking about animals yet, but he is definitely learning lots of words about them!
