All Library branches will be closed and the Mobile Library will not make its scheduled stops on Monday, October 9, for staff training.
Baby isn't old enough to know any letters yet, but that doesn't mean we can't have fun with them! When you share an alphabet book with your baby give him plenty of time to enjoy the pictures while you say the letter. You can talk about other things that start with that letter too. Even though your baby won't start recognizing letters for a few years, you can still start teaching him that letters are special!
These are baby's fingers. (Touch or kiss baby's fingers)
These are baby's toes. (Touch or kiss baby's toes)
This is baby's belly button. (Gently touch belly button)
Round and round it goes. (Move finger around belly button)
Our interactive storytimes introduce young children to books, reading and language with stories, songs and activities. Parents learn fun ways to build the early literacy skills their children need to learn to read.
