Puppet Fun

Tell Stories Create stories, play make-believe and let your child be a storyteller.

PLAY

Puppet Fun

Your toddler loves to hear stories over and over again. Put a new spin on storytime with puppets to act out your favorite stories. Puppets don't have to be store-bought or fancy. Just draw pictures or cut them out from magazines and attach to craft sticks. Or use stuffed animals and toys to represent the characters. Tell the story again and again (and take a break from reading it one more time)!

SING

The Wheels on the Bus

(Roll hands as pretend "wheels" and act out the rest of the song)

The wheels on the bus go round and round,
Round and round, round and round.
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
All through the town.

The people on the bus go up and down,
Up and down, up and down.
The people on the bus go up and down,
All through the town.

Additional verses:
The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish...
The horn on the bus goes beep, beep, beep...
The lights on the bus go on and off...
The doors on the bus go open and shut...

Feel free to add any other verses you can think of!
