Agenda Request Form (pdf)


Individuals residing in Greene County, Missouri, library card holders, or groups with officers either residing in Greene County, Missouri, or holding a library card (hereafter referred to as eligible individuals or groups) wishing to address the Library Board of Trustees are asked to complete an Agenda Request Form. Please return the form to the Library Administrative Office, Public Comment, 4653 S. Campbell, Springfield, MO 65810. Agenda Request Forms may also be filed electronically at Agenda Request Form (pdf). Eligible individuals or groups may also call the Library Administrative Offices at (417) 883-5366.

The Library Board holds regularly scheduled monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. Meeting location varies. The deadline for such requests is close of the business day on the Tuesday preceding the meeting of the Library Board of Trustees.

Eligible individuals or groups may address any item on the agenda by stepping before the Board of Trustees. When possible a podium will be provided. After recognition by the President of the Library Board of Trustees, state name, address and group affiliation (if appropriate). Anyone refusing to identify themselves will be prohibited from addressing the Board of Trustees. Eligible individual and group names are recorded for the Library Board of Trustees meeting minutes.

Eligible individuals or groups may speak one (1) time per issue or item for a maximum of five (5) minutes. If at any time eligible individuals or groups appearing before the Library Board exceed the time limitations, or become abusive in language or behavior, the eligible individual or group will be asked to cease to address the board.

Eligible individuals or groups wishing to address the Board of Trustees will be heard in the order in which they are received unless the chair rules otherwise.
