Bookmobile Staff Provide Limited Service until Mobile Library Arrives
Due to continuing mechanical problems, the Springfield-Greene County Library District’s Bookmobile has been pulled from service and staff will continue to run the Bookmobile’s scheduled route with a district van until the new Mobile Library arrives in mid-May.
Patrons at Bookmobile stops will be able to pick up materials they’ve placed on hold and return materials.
The new Mobile Library, funded by a grant from the Friends of the Library, will take up the Bookmobile’s route as soon as it arrives. A public celebration for the vehicle and its funders will be announced later.
